HRV meditation · Mac and iPhone · in development

See what calms your heart,
beat by beat.

Stillpoint reads every heartbeat from a HeartMath ear sensor and shows you, live, how your breathing, your sits and your day shape your heart rate variability (HRV) and coherence.

What it does

A meditation app that listens to your heart

Heart

Live HRV

Heart rate, HRV (RMSSD), coherence and the heart-rate swing on each breath, updated as each beat comes in.

Breath

A breathing guide

A wave with a moving dot sets your pace, between 4.5 and 7 breaths a minute.

Your day

What changes your heart

Tap Start and Stop around a call, a coffee or a walk. Stillpoint compares it with the 3 minutes before.

How it works

Sensor, then breathing, then coherence

  1. 01

    Clip on the sensor

Stillpoint connects over Bluetooth to the HeartMath Inner Balance Coherence Plus ear sensor and reads the time between each heartbeat. It uses real beats only: no simulated heart, no invented data.

  2. 02

    Breathe with the guide

Follow the wave. A resonance test tries paces from 6.5 down to 4.5 breaths a minute and sets the guide to the one that suits you.

  3. 03

    Watch coherence rise

Coherence measures how smooth and wave-like your heart rhythm is. In a coherence sit, the orb shifts from lilac to blue to green as it rises.

A guided first week

Seven steps, from meeting your heart live to reviewing your patterns. Each step ticks off from your real data.

03

Resonance finder

Short 2-minute trials at different paces, scored on your own heart data, to find your best breathing rate.

04

Charts for the curious

Heart rhythm with rejected beats marked, a rhythm spectrum, and a 10-minute coherence track with activity markers.

05

Summaries and history

Average heart rate, HRV and coherence, time spent in low, medium and high coherence, and a 14-day chart.

06

Your data, exportable

Export sessions as CSV, including the raw beat intervals.

07

Every number explained

Tap the ? next to any number or section for a plain explanation, with sources.

FAQ

Questions

Is it available now?

Not yet. Stillpoint runs on my own Mac today and is still being built. Join the waitlist and I'll email you when there's a build you can try.

Which sensor do I need?

It's built and tested with the HeartMath Inner Balance Coherence Plus ear sensor (Bluetooth). Other heart-rate sensors that send beat-to-beat data may work later, but they aren't tested yet.

Does it work with Apple Watch, Oura or WHOOP?

Not today. Apple Watch and Oura don't share live beat-to-beat data. WHOOP hasn't been tested yet.

Which devices?

Mac first. It's one codebase built for iPhone too, and the iPhone version is next.

Is this a medical device?

No. Stillpoint is a wellness and meditation tool. It doesn't diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Talk to a doctor about health concerns.

What does it cost?

Pricing isn't set yet. Waitlist members will hear first.
